Ancient Doorway Sculpture Discovered Near Banteay Srei

Siem Reap: A newly discovered giant doorway sculpture near the Banteay Srei temple research site has been identified as being more than 700 years old, according to researchers.

Conservationists have conducted further studies on the artifact, which is now being preserved at the Sihanouk Angkor Museum in Siem Reap. Experts believe the sculpture provides valuable insights into the architectural and artistic heritage of the Angkor period.

The discovery marks another significant addition to ongoing efforts to uncover and preserve Cambodia’s rich cultural history.
